Children spend hours reading whether alone, with parents, or at school.
Children with visual impairments can also enjoy many hours experiencing
the fun of literacy. These web pages suggest a few ideas on how teachers
and parents can adapt reading activites for children with visual impairmnets.
Most of the activites focus on addressing literacy activites for children
with multiple disabilities. However,you will find links to pages focused
on reading and literacy for all different types of readers. This site
provides different practical and easy adaptations to enhance your child's
